need a break from work
I am considering taking some time off from work. I am exhausted from the daily grind and perhaps need to treat myself to some reduced working hours.

Richard Nixon - a personal hero of mine

When I was younger I was often told by my parents that I would have to go into the culinary arts as my profession and life's work. I always felt I had to honor my parents and nearly started working at McDonald's to hone my skills. But I felt I could do more beneficial things for society like copying Nintendo's Super Monkey Ball.
One day I was watching history channel and it was showing how Richard Nixon left the White House and was defiantly waving his two hands above his head forming the letter V. He kept yelling that he was not a cook. Thanks Richard for giving me the will to defy my parents draconian efforts to make me into a short order cook.
So this photo came about when I dressed up in honor of Trick Dicky and showed off the trademark anti-cooking stand of defiance!!
